WW - Omega tank, ref CK973/17, circa 1934, manual wind, 21mm x 39mm to lug tips, 17mm lug wire lug width, original highly unusual modular stainless steel case with screwed down bezel and reverse hidden lugs as well as an inner movement dust cover, vintage gray leather strap, refinished white dial with applied silver Arabic numerals, 15J, s#8113840, triple signed. An incredibly unusual design and case style surely to be the crowning center of one's early Omega wristwatch collection.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, hardly any oxide, light toning to plates; fine refinished dial with light surface spotting; excellent blued steel hands; lightly polished case shows very light wear, sharp lug chamfers, several light dings on the sides and in between the lugs; crown shows medium wear with numerous small dings; good plastic crystal.
